How To Take Screenshot On iPhone/iPad?

Apple devices are well-known for their great design and that includes taking screenshots. If you are using iOS devices like – an iPhone or iPad – capturing your screen is a quick and easy process. The method depends on which model of iPhone or iPad you have.

Now, let’s take a look at how to take screenshot on iPhone/iPad.

For iPhones with Face ID

If you have an iPhone with Face ID (no Home button) – taking a screenshot is simple.

Press and hold the Side button along with the Volume Up button simultaneously.

You’ll notice a short flash on the screen – and a small preview of the screenshot will appear in the bottom-left corner.

From there – you can tap it to edit or save the image.

For iPhones with a Home Button

If you have an older iPhone with a Home button – the process is slightly different.

Press and hold the Home button and the Side button (or Top button, depending on the model) at the same time.

Just like with Face ID models – your screen will flash – and the screenshot will be saved.

For iPads with a Home button

Press the Home button and Top button together to capture the screen.

For iPad with Face ID (no Home button)

Use the Top button and Volume Up button to take a screenshot.

All screenshots taken on iPhones or iPads will be automatically saved to your Photos app. From there – you can view, edit, and share them however you’d like. Apple also allows you to mark up your screenshots with – text, arrows, and highlights if you need to add notes.
